Johnson &amp; Johnson Hospital Medical Device Global Pricing Strategy is recruiting for a Lead Data Analyst, Global Pricing Analytics to be located in Pune, India. Global Pricing Strategy (GPS) is a newly established team responsible for the development, implementation and oversight of global pricing strategy, policies and long-term capabilities across the J&amp;J Hospital Medical Device (JJHMD) portfolio of products with gross global sales of $21B. The group drives alignment across franchises, platforms, and regions through central-lead, cross-functional collaboration and solid foundation in research and data analytics. The members of the global team work closely with the Customer, Market, and Portfolio leads to build value-based business cases and drive a portfolio of strategic initiatives focused on near and long-term revenue growth opportunities. The group owns global targets and KPIs fully aligned with the financial and strategic priorities of JJHMD. As the health care market continues to evolve there is an increased focus on reducing costs, improving outcomes, and increasing patient satisfaction. JJHMD is experiencing a dramatic shift in how the prices of our products are viewed in the market place, with significant downward pressure, price transparency, bench-marking and competition. RESPONSIBILITIES : - The Lead Data Analyst role will be responsible for assembling data from multiple sources across complex system landscape, conducting analyses, performing research, interacting with different internal customers, designing, documenting, and implementing analytical solutions. - The candidate will be responsible for building Global Price performance management reporting systems and for tracking process improvements across the organization. - The environment is fast-paced, managing multiple responsibilities, and deadlines across an internationally based team. Key Duties and Responsibilities : - Design, develop and implement databases, data collection systems, data analytics and other strategies to support the pricing operational, tactical and strategic reporting and analytics needs. - Acquire data from primary or secondary data sources and maintain databases/data systems - Develop and maintain scripts and queries to import, manipulate, clean, transform data from different sources - Perform quality assurance on generated results to ensure accuracy and consistency - Design, evaluate and monitor key metrics, understanding root causes of changes in metrics - Conduct analysis using statistical software, databases, and spreadsheets - Locate and define new process improvement opportunities Required Skills/Experience : - A minimum of a Bachelor's degree is required in a technical field (e.g. Computer Science, Statistics, Engineering, Mathematics, Operations Research, etc.) - A minimum of 4 years experience in computer science, math, or other quantitative discipline is preferred. - Experience with Data warehouse projects, data models, database design development, data mining and segmentation techniques is a huge plus. - Experience working with large databases (Oracle, Redshift, SQL server) and AWS a plus developing queries, report writing and presenting findings - Desire to work in a fast paced, growing, deadline driven, startup-up environment. Ability to inform rapid, but fact-based decision-making with imperfect data. Self-motivated, driven to achieve committed milestones. - Ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy - We are looking for a results-oriented self-starter who can assume responsibility and ownership for active projects. - Data Analysis - Very good knowledge of SQL, Python, R language, MS Excel mastery, including VBA, PivotTables, and array functions - or other similar tools used for discovering data patterns and correlations through statistical methods - Dealing with data providers in internal organizations, specifically in the development of data requests, checking of data received, and follow up with data providers on data issues. - Strong math and analytical skills including statistics, simulation, and optimization - Understanding of correlation, regression, classification and other statistical methods used to look at the data from different angles for use in prescriptive and predictive models - Unstructured Data handling - Know best practices on how to stage unstructured data and properly model it to solve the problem at hand - Thrives in challenging situations, considers them as opportunities for growth, and deepens its knowledge in the process - Presenting results to clients in a clear and respectful manner, and maintaining professionalism in collecting feedback - Strong problem solving and creative thinking skills - Must be comfortable working in cross-functional role and navigating many stakeholders. - Ability to work seamlessly as part of a multi-site, multicultural Global Pricing Team BE VITAL in your Career; be seen for the talent you bring to your work.
