Position will be responsible for driving Make Excellence initiatives, which includes delivering sustainable gross profit improvement, Strengthening Zero Defect Culture, OEE/productivity improvement, executing capacity expansion projects, Performance management and building core competencies & capabilities to deliver Best-In-Class performance in Make Organization. Key Responsibilities: 1. GP Improvement : - Deliver CIP (Cost Improvement) targets for plant/ technology platforms. - Lead Process to identify cost improvement / GP improvement projects across all the function. - Ensure flawless execution of projects. - Develop future project pipelines for long term sustainability and continuous cost reductions. - Collaborate with cross functional teams and regional teams for target settings, periodic reviews, reporting and bridging gaps. 2. Operations Excellence [TPM] : - OEE and productivity Improvement by driving J&J Production System - Partner with Quality and Safety to constantly improve processes for zero defect and zero incident culture - Support Manufacturing Core teams to identify OEE improvement opportunities and drive improvement initiatives. 3. Capability Building : - Build capability of people in operations and enabling functions on operations excellence, ZERO based budgeting and J&J Best practices - Build Capabilities for future - Business Intelligence and Analytics Capability - Manufacturing for Future - Identify trends in market, connect externally, benchmark and leverage technology to make J&J ahead of curve on Industry 4.0 - Build ecosystem of capability - partner with academia, other organizations, other J&J plants to constantly have best practices and identify potential reapplication. 4) Projects Management : - Lead team to dive Capacity Expansion Projects and product re-siting projects. - Support in Benchmarking best practices and cost benefit analysis for projects. - Remove roadblocks in project execution for timely delivery. - Ensure prudent Capex Spends. - Drive other strategic projects from time to time. 5). Business Partnering : - Partner with one or more operations leaders/ commercial & planning leaders on understanding busines needs, current pain points, evolving landscape - Identify solutions, define proposal/ recommendation for business case to support aforesaid needs. - Engage stakeholders across supply chain to seek inputs and drive the business case to execution. 5) Performance Management : - Ensure Performance Tracking and on-time reporting for Make Organization. Qualification: 1. Education: Engineering / Science background with a Post graduation in Operations Management from premier B-Schools. 2. Experience: 4 to 5 years Cross functional exposure in Supply Chain. Preference for Operational Excellence and capabilities in Tableau/ Data Analytics/ R/ SQL 3.
