Position Summary : - Provide brief and concise statement explaining the main purpose for the existence of this position. Provide a brief summary of the role. - This role covers E2E procurement needs in India including both Supplier Chain procurement and Commercial procurement. Will be responsible for connecting the Procurement category teams with the business and ensuring alignment between Procurement strategy and business strategy across the India CH business for Self-Care, Essential Health & Skin Health with total NTS of around $0.7BN to drive growth priorities, customer service and to drive GP projects in our critical G9 lead market. The Country Procurement Lead role also serves as the sponsor for Procurement and engages with stakeholders to drive strategy development and execution, support business planning and decision making and align on shared goals The India BEL scope of responsibilities include: Spend Management : - He/ She is responsible for developing the Country related vision, strategy and implementation plan for a specific category or categories of spend that will effectively meet the long-term needs of the business partners and deliver the maximum value for J&J - He/ She will be connected to and work with Regional Procurement Leads / teams and Procurement Delivery teams to ensure alignment with the Global category direction and ongoing developments and trends to maximize the local opportunity to drive efficiencies and innovation - He/ She will share local best practices, country category trends, supplier innovations, etc to ensure all other countries are aware and can benefit from success achieved locally, whilst taking and implementing any appropriate and feasible learnings from other countries. Supply Reliability : - Partner with end to end Franchise team to drive Supply resilience and protect the customer service - Partner with category teams to simplify the supplier base and build a robust supplier base Supplier Management : - He/ She will enable/lead a country specific supplier management program in alignment with the category strategy. This will include data review and analysis, performance management and development and improvement of end to end value and bring innovation to the business - He/ She will interface directly with supplier leadership to assure alignment of company's objectives are met, including quality, reliability, innovation and cost - He/ She will be escalation the point between the company and suppliers to ensure efficient resolution of disputes. Qualifications : Required Minimum Education: - Understanding of business operations and practices and core Procurement areas of focus - Experienced and knowledge in Supply Chain of FMCG/Pharma industry - Customer Orientation and End to end mindsets with strong collaboration with key stakeholders - Strong analytical skill - Able to prioritize requests and propose effective cost/customer service alternatives when necessary - Ability to continuously improve self to impact the organization Travel on the Job : Indicate whether this position requires travel. Percentage Traveled: 30% People Management Experience: Indicate whether supervisor/people management experience is required. Preferred Qualifications : Consider and identify qualifications that are not required to perform the job, but would be very helpful assets to performing the job.
