Position Summary : The Assistant Manager - Talent Acquisition has responsibility of leading the staffing for one of the Strategic Business Units of Johnson &amp; Johnson in India. You will manage the recruiting process and drive Talent Acquisition strategies for a selected client group. Major Duties &amp; Responsibilities : - Collaborate with the Head of Talent Acquisition, India and Hiring Managers to develop new and effective strategies geared towards attracting top talent and ensuring J&amp;J is seen as an Employer of Choice - Consult and build solid relationships with stakeholders in creating staffing plans, developing sourcing and interviewing strategies and implementing agreed action plans. - Collaborate in creating staffing plans, develop strategies and implement action plans - Maintain current knowledge of business, marketplace, legal and recruitment trends and requirements - Candidate relationship management by building positive candidate experience - Stakeholder management by regular consulting with Hiring Managers, Business based HR and other J&amp;J Specialist Groups - Demonstrate knowledge of the Business, Marketplace, legal and recruitment trends - Check professional references and drive other candidate due diligence activities in compliance with the recruitment operating procedures - Manage the data associated with the recruitment process to ensure all relevant data on applicants, the process and the final hiring decision is properly handled in a timely manner - Ensure that internal roles between legal entities are calibrated and aligned, working closely with the relevant Total Rewards and HR communities - Build effective sourcing strategies to ensure strong pipelines for all business areas. - Deploy and use job appropriate behavioral and competency-based interview methodology - Coach Hiring Managers or teams on interviewing and candidate assessment techniques. - Identify and share recruitment best practices across business units of focus using the J&amp;J GR Service Delivery model. - Contribute to development of and implement agreed sourcing strategy to achieve significant reduction in agency sourcing which may include supporting other markets and recruiters when required. - Interview prospective employees and evaluate candidates from entry level to senior management. - Consult with hiring managers on recommended starting salaries and other offer package details including, but not limited to, sign on bonuses, relocation, vacation, stock options, annual bonus, etc., - Negotiate offers. Provide candidate offer package recommendation to line manager. - Ensure that the recruitment process flow complies with agreed Service Level Agreements (SLAs) keeping in mind to keep the process moving forward. - Provide company information to candidates and appropriately "sell" candidates on the value proposition of the Johnson &amp; Johnson experience. - Ensure that the process and the final hiring decision are properly handled in a timely manner. Gather/compile/maintain/provide regular metrics for HR-related activities. - Lead or participate in local, regional or global projects focused on recruiting process improvements or best practices. - Ensure end user education and training of hiring managers and BBHR on the Talent Acquisition process and tools. Qualifications, Experience and Competencies Required : Apart from your passion for recruitment and being a self-starter who can handle one's role without extended supervision, you should have: - A Post-Graduation in Human Resources or equivalent from a premier business school. - A minimum of 4 years of experience in Human Resources of which atleast 2 years is in leading recruitment for a Business Unit/ Function. - Managed high volume of positions at a given time - Demonstrated capability in recruiting for wide variety of levels and positions in multiple functional disciplines. - Excellent interpersonal communication, customer-service and organization skills required. Must have the experience and ability to have discussions with executive and senior management level personnel. - Attention to detail and the ability to deal appropriately with confidential information required. - Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously is required, as is the ability to develop relationships and influence others. - Demonstrated knowledge and experience in HR recruiting processes and practices (i.e., compensation, employment laws, interviewing skills, sourcing strategies, etc). - Strong account management, consulting and interviewing skills. - Strong customer and marketplace focus; negotiation and influencing skills; project management, and time management are required. - experience with Targeted Selection/Behavioral Interviewing process. - A high personal and learning agility- flexible with the needs of the situation and ability to learn from experience Desirable : - Experience with Taleo other similar Applicant Tracking System is an asset. - Experience in managing a TPV as part of the recruiting process - Experience in direct candidate sourcing is a plus.
