Manager - Strategy and Business Development Reporting to : Associate Director - Strategy and Business Development Provide support & lead (as applicable) Strategy, Business Development (BD) initiatives as follows: Strategy: - Support in strategy related projects for data/information research and gathering, data analysis, insight generations, solutions / recommendations -Support/Lead (as applicable) Annual strategic initiatives - Assess external and internal environment e.g. Regulatory, Pricing, Access, Economic, Patent etc on a regular basis and evaluate opportunities/provide recommendations - Bring forward strategic ideas for discussion and implementation - Business Development (Licensing/Partnership/Alliances) - Support/Lead (as applicable) BD initiatives through cross functional collaboration for anchoring, preparing and tracking New Business case progress - Prepare reference documents for internal / external meetings by mapping market opportunity, competitive landscape scanning (may require HCP visits), capability assessment and partner selection proposals for partnership opportunities Collaboration: - Collaborate and work with market research team for opportunity assessment through primary research (as applicable) , market data (IQVIA etc.) analysis and secondary sources (Industry reports, paper and journals) - Prepare discussion / reference documents for new product launch plan Qualifications: ~5 years of professional work experience Essential: Pharmacy Graduate with management / equivalent academic background Preferred: Exposure / experience in Business development (Licensing/Partnership/Alliances) and Strategy functions will be preferred Excellent Structured thinking, PPT and Excel skills required Functional Skills & Competencies: - Ability to work with complex data set / information and finding underlying trends / themes and insights - Structured problem-solving skills, project management - Ability to collaborate with cross functional teams - Ability to work with a sense of urgency - Good communication - internal and external stakeholders Preferred: Basic understanding of pharmaceutical industry in India - market overview, key characteristics, emerging market trends Organization Johnson & Johnson Private Limited (8080) Job Function Marketing Requisition ID 2105969873W The apply button will redirect you to an external URL, please apply there as well
