Teams: The Risk &amp; Compliance division at JLT India conducts risk management activities for India and the Group. The various functions of the R&amp;C team include the following: - KYC - ISO Certifications - Risk Management - Compliance The Senior Manager will be accountable for: - Being the risk management (SME) in JLT India and providing advice, guidance, training and tools to enable the embedding of risk management across JLT India - The execution, refinement and oversight of JLT India Operations Risk Management (ORM) framework to ensure operational risks are effectively identified and managed - Supporting JLT India senior management manage the overall risk profile of the operation and risk reporting and governance requirement, and work in partnership with overseas operations to enable them to understand the impact on their own risk profile - Working with the Group ERM Team to strengthen, enhance and embed the Group's ERM Framework and the tools and techniques that under pin it - Providing day to day people management of the Business Contacts and KYC teams, and monitoring the performance against SLAs Role Requirements -&nbsp; - Operate as India lead of Global CoEs supporting risk and Compliance program at JLT group level - Enterprise Risk Management - Risk assessment to identify the Key risks with the business, development of Risk Register and providing inputs for the preparation for risk committees to address high risks. - Financial Crime Unit - covering KYC, AML, Sanction, Bribery &amp;Corruption and PEP - Politically exposed person - Data loss and Prevention - Implementation and governance for UK, India and US - Information Security - Implementation and governance for employee benefit business in UK - Business risk and compliance activities for EB &amp; Re - PEP checks, Re compliance Governance, ISMS development for EB centres, other mandatory learning and development compliance reporting - Support GRC on ERM roll out across JLT group and JLTI, participate in framework development/enhancement, ERM management report, Risk Event framework and other strategic group KPIs GDPR READINESS AND CONTROL ROLL OUT FOR INDIA IN LINE WITH GROUP DELIVERABLES Key Focus Areas - Manage the development, implementation and on-going execution of the Risk and Control Self-Assessment (RCSA) and Failure Mode Effects Analysis (FMEA) program to support achievement of 2nd Line of Defence responsibilities under the Operational Risk Management Framework. - Develop the necessary planning, training and communication materials for executing RCSAs and other risk assessments, as well as enhancing awareness of ORM. - Prepare Operational Risk &amp; Control reporting materials and Produce timely reports for executives, senior management, key stakeholders, and Risk Committees. - Manage ORMs testing and validation efforts for risk issues identified through RCSA and FMEA, once the remediation action plan has been reported as implemented through the RCP. - Ensure effective communication between Compliance, Legal, Internal Audit and other second and third line of defence enterprise organizations and first line businesses to effectively address risk and control issues. - Determine/understand significant changes affecting the Business, internally and externally, and ensure appropriate actions to mitigate risk and modify/expand controls. - To interact and liaise with Regulators on regulatory filings, audits and submission of reports - To update senior management on recent Regulatory and Statutory developments and their impact on business - To monitor and maintain a updated compliance and risk database for JLT group entities based in India - Working with the Group Head of ERM, support and shape key components of the Group's ERM Framework, and support the planning and delivery of the ERM Framework across JLT Technical Skills - Excellent problem solving and analytical skills - Ability to gauge risk and compliance impact of projects, propose risk mitigation solutions - Risk &amp; Control Assessment and Root Cause Analysis - Operational Risk Principles, Practices and Implementation - ERM Framework Principles and Practices and Implementation - Risk Review and Challenge - Know Your Customer Good Practice - Experience in dealing with international customers - Excellent presentation and MS office power point skills - Expertise in regulations that govern Benefit solutions and Insurance broking in India, UK, Australia and Asia (preferred) General Skills - Excellent communication skills - Strong Managerial skills - Strong people / team management skills and performance management skills - High degree of problem solving skills to resolve problems in a multi-product/service environment - Strong knowledge of motivational techniques - Team building skills Preferred candidate profile - 10 - 12 Years of post-qualification experience in Financial Services, Banking, Investments, Insurance, working in senior risk and compliance roles within complex global organisations - Experience in designing and implementing risk management and Corporate Governance - Experience of KYC - Experience of managing teams and matrix reporting - Past experience in dealing with regulators (desirable) Education /Qualification - Post graduate in management - CA/MS/MBA would be preferred - Certification in Risk Management - Information Security (CISM, ISO 27001) - CIRSC
