The group is in the business of Employee Benefits and Insurance Broking and has its presence through 110 companies in over 36 countries. Team The reporting center of excellence works for all the JLT Group entities to create insightful business intelligence using approved visualization tools like QlikView, Tableau, Power BI. The key objectives of this team are: 1. Discuss with the business stakeholders and collect, transform and store the data in internal servers and continuously optimise the ETL process 2. Create impactful visualisation for the 3. Create a data hub for the group and be the custodian for the global data set across insurance broking, employee benefits and re-insurance businesses 4. Proactively identify data trends and market intelligence to support the analytics propositions for the businesses Senior Manager - BI & Reporting Role Requirements The candidate should have- - Experience in gathering business requirements, elicit technical requirements, prepare report specifications - Experience in designing and developing QlikSense/QlikView dashboards, reports and solutions, configuring server components (QMC task, setting up the server, server administration) - Hands-on experience on identifying the performance issues within the server and do the load balancing in the clustered environment setup - Data modelling using dimensional modelling, star schema, snowflake schema - Worked on different QlikView features like linked objects, searches, Micro charts etc. Experience designing and implementing dimensional star and snowflake models, data marts, and data warehouses - Developed reports, dashboards, scorecards, unit and integration test the developed components - Worked on Oracle relational database - ability to optimize, analyse, and improve database SQL performance on any platform - Understanding of cloud architecture, and setup configuration of services on MS Azure - Have experience in self-service analytics for development of powerful visualisation using tools like Power BI or Tableau - Worked on self-service ETL tools like Alteryx, Talend etc. - Proficiency in programming using R, Python, C++ - Ability to create UI for products using Microsoft or Java development stack will be preferred Technical Skills - Knowledge of BI & reporting for insurance industry is preferred - Knowledge of KPIs for operational dashboards is preferred - Persuasive, collaborative business acumen with ability to drive the client interactions strategically and influence others. - Have 12+ years of experience in BI reporting with strong data optimisation skillsets - Hands-on experience in working on large and disperse data sets (including data cleansing & manipulation) - Proven ability to achieve small automation using VBA Macros - Strong quantitative and analytical skills with ability to translate data into meaningful insights General Skills - Outstanding Project Management skills with experience of managing and delivering large, complex projects - Experience of working in Global/ Cross-cultural teams will be preferred - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Adaptive to organisational culture and business environment.
