JK Cement - General Manager - Mechanical

- Monitor and control entire plant mechanical maintenance with compliance to statutory norms (filtration unit)

- Improve on equipment performance by implementing best practices

- Supervise the maintenance planning, process improvements, yield improvements and engineering changes through management of change control procedure.

- Ensure proper root cause analysis and effective implementation of corrective and preventive actions pertaining to mechanical breakdowns.

- Ensure safety, quality, productivity, inventory Management.

- Adherence to Project and maintenance scheduling

- Validation of projects by PG (performance guarantee tests)

- Alternate development of sources of equipment, spare parts

- Team development

- Stay updated on recent technology up gradations/ developments

- Coordination with production, to obtain maintenance release of equipments

- Coordination with other engineering functions

- Vendor evaluation and support for contracts (AMC)
