Jindal Aluminium - Head - Quality (10-20 yrs)

1. Should be Graduate / Postgraduate in Metallurgical Engineering.

2. Should have Quality assurance hands-on experience of 15-20 years in Al. alloy Flat rolled products through CC routing.

3. Should possess equipment / process knowledge in below areas of Flat rolled products.

a. Caster House and Continuous Casting Process (CC route)

b. Rolling mills like Cold Rolling mills & Foil mills

c. Annealing cycles in Coil annealing and Foil annealing furnaces

4. Should have Hands-on experience in monitoring and implementing the ISO / BIS / EN standards.

5. Expertise in QMS and TQM tools like 5'S' , PDCA, SCM, SQC, Kaizen, Kanban , Lean systems

6. To lead and drive the team by monitoring below aspects of Production/Quality area through 15-18 down level staffs.

a. To control the customer complaint & sales return

b. To reduce the internal non-conformity

c. To assure the QC of incoming Raw material quality and QC Lab management.

d. To co-ordinate with the process routing commitee to make SOP, TDS & other technical data to support marketing concern & customer.

e. Co-ordination with Cross functional depts. & management, Attend the customer complaint & Root Cause Analysis for the same.

f. Supporting Centre of excellence team for New product development and ISO team for audit activity.

g. Team management , training and Implementation of corrective action.

h. Innovation and employee involvement. Plan and develop quality measures, eliminate quality and reliability issues.

i. Regular Inter-actions and follow up with customers.
