SPECIFICATIONS

Education - B.E. (Mechanical / Industrial / Production Engg.) from reputed university / college M.E / M. Tech (Industrial & Prodn Engg) from reputed university / college (preferred)

Experience - 12- 14 years (Min 8 yrs in Digital Manufacturing Domain, min. 4 years in project mgmt & team & customer handling)

Technical Competencies/Non technical Competencies

Domain knowledge:

Should have experience & knowledge in one or more of following areas:

- Plant Layout Design, Material Flow Analysis & Planning ; Throughput Simulation,

- Analysis & Optimization; Logistics System Design & Optimization;

Should be familiar with concepts of Production planning and scheduling, Workload balancing, Materials & Inventory Management, Replenishment strategies, Material handling and storage systems design, Warehouse systems.

Software skills:

Tecnomatix Plant Simulation, Factory CAD, Factory Flow, Delmia Quest, Automod

Others skills:

Excellent analytical and problem solving skills, attentive to details, effective technical communication with team members & customer, project & team management skills.

Behavioral Competencies Can travel for local and overseas business

JOB DESCRIPTION IN DETAIL

JOB DESCRIPTION IN DETAIL : Project Planning & Delivery

- Interact with customer & understand its requirements, conceptualize feasible solutions, workout Project Activity Plan & Schedule, Effort Estimation, Identify skills & team member requirement

- Monitor & control project timeline, planned v/s actual effort and quality of deliverables, ensure on-time delivery of projects.

- Continuous communication with customer, Coordinate with internal and external customers as necessary, keep update on changing customer needs & provide direction on the project to team members, ensure customer feedback at key delivery milestones.

- Provide detailed technical solution concept and design; Evaluate alternate solutions using Digital Manufacturing tools along with the team members and make recommendations to customer.

- Ensure proper project reporting & documentation,

- Facilitate problem solving and collaboration within the team.

- Maintain & provide project progress status update

- Manage, train and help the development of team members

Note: Candidate may need to travel (both domestic & international) and work onsite as per project requirements. Candidate may also need to work in shifts as per project requirement.
