- More than 20 years of direct experience in sourcing of Automotive Commodities & proprietory Items ( Sheet Metal body & frame, Plastic trim, FRP, Castings forgings, Electrial items, Axles, Engines, Steering systems etc) in a large CV.

- Ideal Candidate will have worked in Bus industry or have sufficient exposure to bus body including interior and exterior items.

Deliverable :

- Identifying potential vendors

- Negotiation with the vendors

- Ensuring timely delivery of items as per the production plan

- Supplier upgradations as per the requirement

- Supplier evaluation and taking counter measures as applicable

- Developing alternate sources as per the requirement

- BOM cost reduction to aggressive target level of bus variants

- Sourcing to target cost & Quality

- Material saving through negotiation & VA/VE

- New product development role

- Key proprietary supplier

- Component development

- Process & system implementation (SAP & PLM) for all sourcing process

- Making Departmental budget plan as per the business target

- Allocation of resource as per the plan

- Monitoring of the resource as usable

- Ensuring 100% compliance against ISO/ TS and OHSAS requirement

- Selecting right talent

- Developing talent as per the business requirement.
