Role Description:

1. Directing all aspects of accounting operations, overseeing all transactions related to general ledger, receivables, payable, payroll and financial reporting.

2. Analyzing company's financial results with respect to profits, trends, costs and compliance with budgets. Issue regular status and adhoc reports to senior management.

3. Manage the preparation of financial outlooks and financial forecasts.

4. Recommend benchmarks for measuring the financial and operating performance.

5. Understand and mitigate key elements of company risk profile.

6. Providing strategic guidance around capital financing options to support company growth needs.

7. Developing and coordinating all relationships with lending/financial institutions, bank institutions, bank documentations and BRS.

8. Credit Facilities arrangement and negotiations with bankers.

9. Borrowing and other Working Capital Term Loan Facilities with draw down and Funding arrangement, daily Cash Flow and Working Capital Management.

10. Developing and maintaining all necessary accounting policies and systems, including general ledger and financial reporting.

11. Ensuring that records are maintained in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles. Oversee bookkeeping.

12. Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal budgetary reporting requirements.

13. Assisting senior management in financial planning and results management. Work with other team members to understand revenue and cost drivers and define appropriate reports for tracking.

14. Coordinating, preparing and reviewing monthly, quarterly, and annual reports.

15. Coordinating and/or preparing tax schedules, returns and information.

16. Managing relationships with insurance providers and ensuring compliance.

17. Managing all tax planning and compliance with all required federal, state, local, payroll, property and other applicable taxes.

18. Assist in establishing short- and long-term departmental goals, objectives, policies, and operating procedures.

19. Design, establish, and maintain an organizational structure to effectively accomplish the departmental goals and objectives.

20. Serve as primary government liaison relative to financial issues.

21. Coordinate financial audits and provide recommendations for procedural improvements

22. Oversee daily operations of the finance and accounting department.

23. Other finance and administrative duties as required.

Preferred Skills and Qualifications

- Educational Qualifications and Experience: B.Com (mandatory) and/or CA or MBA Finance.

- Around 4-8 Years experience in Banking & Finance industry, preferably in NBFC Sector.

- Knowledge of Tally, ERP/SAP any other accounting package adjustable to business requirements and accounting processes.

- Understanding of finance and NBFC business.

- Ability to communicate and work together successfully with various groups/departments within the organization.

- Excellent communication skills.

- Excellent interpersonal skills.

- Good working knowledge of Indian Generally Accepted Accounting Principles, Indian Accounting Standards, Companies Act and Income Tax Act.

- Knowledge of RBI Prudential norms for NBFC.

- Knowledge of RBI Policies & Reporting.
