The Marketing manager works to propel JBCN's image positively across internal as well as external stakeholders. Duties include planning and developing internal and external communications (which includes brand collaterals), marketing, and PR strategies with the objective of winning in a hyperlocal context.

Role Description :

1. Develop marketing communications plans, manage budgets, and tactical interventions for driving brand awareness, recall, and learner recruitment (admission):

a) Develop a media relations strategy, seeking high-level placements in print, broadcast, and online media.

b) Coordinate all public relations activities.

c) Admission Indicators: a. 20% increase in the total number of enquiries b. 20% Increase in word-of-mouth enquiries and improvement in mind measures (TOM and SPONT).

2. Plan, engage and direct social media team to engage with audiences across new age media:

a) Leverage existing media relationships and cultivate new contacts within business and industry media.

b) Engagement Indicators:

- Increased Parent Engagement 2x || Increased likes, shares, views 2 x || Increased Reach/ Potential Reach 2 x

- Ensuring positive brand reviews across platforms

3. Communications and Events :

a) Minimum of 2 learner advocacy and 4 parent advocacy initiatives in the academic year covering at least 50% of the community.

b) Proofreading all communication to external stakeholders to ensure it is as per the brand guidelines

c) Reviewing and drafting various templates and sharing with the Admin Manager (for parent queries).

d) To oversee and assist school teams and ensure adequate coverage of marquee events across traditional and social media (e.g InsiprUs, JPPL)

e) Working with the creative team on creating templates and all marketing collaterals / POSM for the event

f) To ensure all events and activations are conducted as per brand guidelines

4. Manage communication over school intranet (E-campus/MySchoolOne) :

a) Cross check & modify/edit various circulars/information/notes which are provided by the HODs/Section coordinators and approve the circulars in consultation with the Director Principal (for all sections) and the Deputy Principal (Secondary & Higher secondary sections) which are then sent to the IT team for further dissemination of information to the parent body.

5. Digital Marketing Co-ordination & Managing Emergency Situation :

a) Manage media inquiries and interview requests.

b) Create content for press releases, by-line articles, and keynote presentations.

c) Monitor, analyse and communicate PR results on a quarterly basis.

6. Internal and & External Stakeholder Management :

a) Evaluate opportunities for partnerships, alliances and sponsorships, and advertising on an ongoing basis.

b) Build relationships with thought leaders to grow industry awareness.

c) Maintain a keen understanding of industry trends affecting customers and make appropriate recommendations regarding communication strategy surrounding them

d) Send wishes/creatives to the parent body for various festivals, etc.

e) To give inputs on sensitive legal matters to the Manager Admin who would then communicate the same to the parents.

f) Liaise with the parent body for any parent-led initiatives

7. Communication duties with HO :

a) Liasioning with HO from time to time on activations and engagements

b) Responsible for sending various data and details for surveys and awards.

c) Liasioning with the digital marketing teams for social media uploads and monitoring the school Facebook page.

d) Providing marketing assistance to the admissions department.

e) Liasioning with the PR team on a need basis for various PR related activities

f) Working out annual engagement calendar for learners and parents post discussion and subsequent alignment with HO

g) Strategizing with HO on social media content bucket on a monthly basis
