Category Management - Sports - SIBM/SIMS/IMI/FORE/TAPMI/IMT ROLES & RESPONSIBITIES: - Managing international brands portfolio for Sports category - P&L: Responsible for annual business plan for category. - Review financial performance at category level. - Footwear, Apparels and bags range development and Sourcing. - Selection, Responsible for range and assortment planning basis trends, competition and price segments to ensure that the Category/Brands is well represented. - Co-coordinating for import deliveries and documentation. - Relationship Management: Should be able to maintain relationships with biggest of brands and manage internal stakeholders at the same time. - Category Growth: Should have a view and drive towards growing the category keeping in mind the consumer and competition. - Cross Functional Capabilities: Should be able to fruitfully coordinate with sales, marketing, supply chain, cataloguing, finance/commercial and other functions of the organization. - Supervision and Monitoring Cataloging, Discount, Inventory, Top selling SKUs etc and trend spotting. - Marketing Promotions: Visibility plans, promotion plans and coordinate the same between the internal marketing teams and that of brands. - Inventory Planning and Management: Inventory health metrics for the portfolio needs to be adhered to. DESIRED SKILLSET: - The desired candidate should possess excellent negotiation skills as they need to negotiate on commercials with brands and vendors - The role requires the candidate to work seamlessly across teams within the organization. Hence, the desired candidate should have excellent Interpersonal Skills - Good Communication Skills to ensure there is smooth flow of communication within and outside the organization. - Technical knowledge of Product is a must - Knowledge of Fashion Trends & MS Excel
