Vice President, Startup Programs, IvyCamp - We are looking for a strategic leader to grow our corporate innovation partnerships and lead the team. The role will include creating new corporate leads, converting these into paid corporate innovation engagements, and managing the team to ensure a high quality deal flow of startups for the IvyCapVentures Fund . This person will be responsible for the P&L, plan and execute strategic growth strategies and the seed fund deal flow, and manage the team. - About IvyCap Ventures: IvyCap is an early stage Venture Capital irm that nurtures entrepreneurs and their ideas into sustainable businesses, leveraging our Global Alumni Ecosystem. IvyCap Ventures Advisors Pvt Ltd was founded in 2011 and is the largest home grown venture capital fund in India with 22 institutional investors. The fund has secured majority commitment from India's largest banks, insurance companies and Govt. of India. IvyCap lead mentors are present across India, US, Japan, Singapore, Hong Kong and Middle East. - About IvyCamp: IvyCamp is an initiative of IvyCap Ventures. We are an engagement platform that leverages the Global IIT/IIM Alumni Ecosystems to help startups grow and scale. We create startup-corporate engagements based on business needs and leverage our global Alumni mentor pool to source, and evaluate startups, which also become a deal flow for the fund. We also work across the IITs and IIMs to scout for high potential seed stage startups. Duties And Responsibilities: - Generate Corporate Leads across targeted sectors, create and close commercial engagements, and manage the ongoing relationships. Drive revenue growth across corporate innovation partnerships and own the PNL for this business arm. - Manage the corporate program execution team at IvyCamp to develop targeted value proposition for leads, and oversee the innovation programs. - Manage the institute engagement team to source seed stage startups for funding - Build connects for corporate mentors to leverage across IvyCap portfolio companies Qualifications: - Minimum of 7 years' experience in the startup ecosystem at an incubator, fund, etc. Demonstrated success in a consultative selling role interacting with C-Suite executives of large enterprise companies. Experience evaluating seed stage and pre series A startups for an incubator or funding - Understanding of startup ecosystem and the players - Experience with venture capital (either directly or indirectly); understands what it means to work for a small high pace/high growth company. - A Bachelor's/PG degree or commensurate experience.
