ITGC Audit Support Consultant - IT (3-8 yrs)

Qualification B.Tech/ B.E / IT and/ or other related major (MCA, MBA etc.)

Industry Specialization, if any - Desired professional certifications such as CISA, CISSP, ITILv3 Foundations, MCSE, CCNA etc. but Not Mandatory.

- Experience in ITGC audits, SOX, ERP Audits, SSAE 16, SAS 70, ISAE 3402, ISO 27001, BCP/DR, IT Internal Audits, HIPAA and PCIDSS.

- Experience of IT operations based in large enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems such as Oracle, SAP or Microsoft ERPs. Knowledge of business process control reviews and audits for business cycles such as P2P, O2C, R2R etc. but not mandatory.

- Independently manage and/or lead projects, information technology audits, or internal audit.

- The candidate will be expected to be executing ITGC engagements as part of SOX, SSAE 16, ISAE 3402, SOC 2, ISO 27001, ERP application process reviews etc.

- The candidate will be expected to evaluate the design and implementation, and to test the operating effectiveness of IT general controls (ITGC) where processing of key financial reporting data occurs.

- Additionally, knowledge and experience in testing OS platforms such as Windows and UNIX. Candidate will also be expected to perform audit Support engagements (to support statutory audit).

- Collaborate with other members of the engagement team to plan the engagement and develop work program timelines, risk assessments, and other planning documents.

- Ensure high quality in client service by directing daily progress of fieldwork, informing supervisors of engagement status, and managing staff performance

- Demonstrate and apply a thorough understanding of complex information systems. Use knowledge of the current IT environment and industry IT trends to identify the engagement and client service issues, and communicate this information to the engagement team and client management through written correspondence and verbal presentations
