While overall IT experience has to be 15+ years in the last 3+ years the major experience should have been in conceptualizing, communicating & executing IT transformation in the following areas -

1. IT operating model

2. IT governance and management

3. IT service delivery excellence

4. IT solution delivery excellence

5. IT workforce transformation

6. IT organization design

7. Demand Management model

8. Change management

9. IT sourcing

10. IT Benchmark & Standardization

In the process of IT transformation, the individual should have earlier experience and should be able to leverage the latest trends, levers and subject matter experts in most of the following areas

- Bimodal model, One Asset Model, Shared Service Model

- Agile, DevOps, KanBan, ScumBan

- Leveraging Enterprise Architecture for enterprise application management & portfolio rationalization

- Leveraging analytics, AI, Machine Learning for self-learning & self-healing IT

- Cost Transformational models, getting the best out of IT resources & assets -enterprise/ cloud/ hybrid infrastructure

- Getting the best from tools & technologies -open source v/s others, COTS v/s Bespoke

- Change management

- ITIL ISO 20k / CMMI, Agile, DevOps, Lean IT, Six Sigma,

Expected Work Breakdown for this role :

For all the above areas mentioned in earlier section of document the IT transformation expert has to support pre-sales with solutions, impress upon analyst community, work with sales, delivery & marketing team & other practice subject matter experts to sell & execute these set of services with prospects & in large existing accounts.

Some of the detail activities are listed below:-

- Development and branding of solutions.

- Developing a partner ecosystem that enhances our solutions, branding and differentiation

- Assisting in formulating IT transformation services strategy

- Branding and visibility of the IT transformation services propositions through Analyst Engagements, Industry forums participation and thought leadership.

- Involvement in consulting assignments with prospects/Customers.

- Taking IT transformation services to the next level of maturity

Communication and other skills:

 Must :

- Strong Oral & Written skills

- Strong executive presence

- 3 years plus experience of presenting to CIO & other - C-level - executives.

- Participation in Industry forums & provide thought leadership

- Ability to work closely with the sales team to help convert prospects to customers by recognizing prospect needs and positioning our capabilities

- Ability to lead in defining collateral & toolkit that will differentiate the organization, excellent presentation skills
