IT Project Manager - BFS

Required Skills:

- Bachelor of engineering in Computer Science or equivalent

- 5+ years of project management experience

- Certification in either Agile or PMP methodology

- Proficiency using Project Management Software Tools

- Proficiency with MSWord, Excel, and Power Point

Role and Responsibilities:

- Work with the business users for defining the project scope and timelines

- Manage change management and expectations with various stakeholders

- Work with Architects, Developers, Quality Engineers, Application Support, Vendors and Dev Ops teams to ensure all planning from Design, Infrastructure, Development to Production and Post-Production are covered

- Formulate and execute project plans, and manage cross-functional teams

- Work with Cloud Providers to get the underlying technology Infrastructure ready.

- Strong verbal and written communication skills are crucial for this position, as the job requires heavy interaction with business, other IT groups and 3rd parties on an ongoing basis

- Ability to drive a project from concept to delivery

- Prior experience in working closely with technical and business teams to deliver quality software implementations.

- Solid knowledge of software development life cycles.

- Excellent project management experience: planning, scheduling, project communication, issue resolution, change management, and risk management

- Ability to manage cross functional teams consisting of developers, vendors, and business users

- Ability to resolve conflicts and drive issues to resolution.
