Job Description :

- Lead the design and development of effective and robust applications while architecting for applications and ensuring compliance with our client's requirements across all local, regional, global regulatory, security and technical standards

Description

- Responsible for application portfolio

- Work with complex regulatory environments relating to IT (local, regional & US)

- Develop diverse technological solutions, several projects typically with project life cycle of approximately 1-2+ years per phase

- Support applications within the organization

- Work with approximately 10-20 highly skilled professional employees performing diverse functions

People Performance

- Uses appropriate processes and tools (competency models, PBO/PR processes, development programmes etc) to recruit, develop, manage the performance (setting expectations, coaching, variety of people issues etc), of a multi- cultural and highly skilled Team.

- Ensures they have the capabilities to deliver robust and cost effective IT solutions that meet the immediate and longer-term needs of the business.

Application Development

- Contributes to the development of effective application architecture strategies that directly support business needs/strategy. Includes performing evaluations of alternatives and making specific recommendations with supporting rationales.

- Developing and providing technical recommendations regarding feasibility, costs, time, quality etc.

- Includes in depth technical analysis of new and highly complex proposals that relate to assigned functions.

Business Planning

- Recommends/implements effective business plans and programmes to ensure achievement of approved goals and objectives both in the medium & longer term. Plans and manages multiple business critical projects to ensure the timely achievement of all of the specified project deliverables.

- Identifies and recommends relevant resources needed to achieve both project and maintenance goals. Balances the use of internal and external resources based on cost, capability and time constraints. Promptly identifies factors that potentially impact goal achievement and takes timely corrective actions.

Technical Standards

- Contributes to the definition of IT related technical and business standards for application and data architecture. Supports IT on legal and information security requirements (SOX, Infosec, competition law, data privacy, etc). Implements the agreed standards within IT and user functions and ensures compliance through the use of appropriate monitoring, measurement and reporting tools.

Profile

- Master's or BTech degree in computer science or similar discipline.

- Minimum 15 years of experience in software

- Certifications: TOGAF Certified Enterprise Architect, SAFe, PMP - Project Management, Preferred: DevOps, Oracle (Java EE) certified enterprise architect

- In depth understanding of data, technical & enterprise architectures for applications and component based development methodologies

- Good understanding of the macro business environment with experience of translating ideas & new methodologies into specific technical recommendations to aid the business

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with both consumers and technical people. Experience working with Sr. management level stakeholders

- Excellent experience of IT vendor management, contracts, with experience of managing service delivery, service level agreements
