Our client, a global consulting firm, is working on a project for a major IT player in the information technology industry. The project focuses on operational excellence and cost optimization for infrastructure services, which includes areas such as data center operations, network and security operations, endpoint management, and virtual workplace management.

The project comprises two main themes -

- Optimal deployment through operations and service delivery model benchmarks: This involves benchmarking metrics such as the number of full-time equivalents (FTEs) per rack and the number of IT service management (ITSM) licenses per 1000 FTEs to achieve optimal deployment.

- Implementation of quick-win interventions: The objective is to automate and enhance efficiency in infrastructure operations, including initiatives like software-defined infrastructure for auto-provisioning and shifting left of incidents.

To support the project, our client seeks a Senior IT Services Delivery Leader with expertise in IT infrastructure services, including data center operations, servers and storage operations, endpoint management, and network and security.

As an expert for this project, the key deliverables and responsibilities will include:

- Assisting in defining operational excellence benchmarks for infrastructure service operations.

- Collaborating on the design of an optimal deployment model for resources, infrastructure, and IT expenses to streamline infra operations.

- Contributing to the design of quick-win technology interventions, such as software-defined architecture and monitoring.

Your Background:

- 15+ years of experience in IT services, with a focus on infrastructure services, data center operations, servers and storage operations, endpoint management, network, and security.

Additional details:

- Contract Duration: The initial contract period is 3 months.

- Work Arrangement: This engagement can be carried out remotely.

- Time Commitment: You will be required to dedicate 10-15 hours per week to this project.
