The infrastructure components are Servers, Network (Switches, Routers, Bandwidth connectivity), Cloud infrastructure, End user services (PCs, Macs, Firmware, OS, App installations, Config and updates, User provisioning, Patch management and Antivirus rollouts) Responsibilities 1. Subject matter expert: SME for all Technology Infrastructure matters in the organization. (Administration of Servers, Network, Cloud, IT Client services: Desktop computing) 2. IT infrastructure operations: i. Define and implement policies, SOPs, Daily morning checklists and have a proactive approach towards administrating the infrastructure in the organization with timely response and resolution ii. Ensuring uptime and Administration of following components a. Networking Switches, Routers, Bandwidth connectivity b. Servers: Operating systems, Physical and virtual servers, Storage and backups, Disaster recovery c. End user services (PCs, Macs, Firmware, OS, App installations, Config and updates, User provisioning, Patch management and Antivirus rollouts) c. Cloud infrastructure iii. Data loss and fraud prevention: Making sure internal staff doesn't misuse or steal data and Ensure that Valuefy's Applications and underlying infrastructure are adequately protected from external threats 3. Procurement and deployment : Planning, buying, and rolling out hardware and software, and making sure Desktops (PCs/Macs), Applications, Servers, Network infrastructure and Cloud environment are designed and implemented keeping practices in mind. Accountable for License compliance and Asset inventory (Hardware and Software) 4. Identity and access management: Ensuring that only authorized people have access to restricted data and systems 5. Program management: Keeping ahead of IT infrastructure deployment needs by implementing programs or projects that mitigate risks regular system patches, for instance 6. Vendor management: Coordinate and Manage Vendors and monitor SLAs. Optimize vendor expense and ensure that Scope of work is adhered on a day to day basis 7. Standards and Certifications: Lead the organisation towards excellence by implementation and different standards and Certifications - Control Objectives for Information and Related Technology (COBIT 5) - Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL v3) - Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI) (Level 1, 2, 3, 4, 5) Requirements 1. Proven working experience as IT Infrastructure Management. Relevant Experience between 7 to 12 years. 2. System, Process, compliance oriented and results driven 3. Hands-on Knowledge and Demonstrable experience of managing Enterprise-wide IT Infrastructure for Applications, Infrastructure, Cloud, Network. 4. In-depth knowledge of Infrastructure systems and IT service delivery best practices 5. Competence to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company 6. Hands-on knowledge of administering different components of IT infrastructure 1. Networking Switches, Routers, Bandwidth connectivity 2. Servers: Operating systems, Physical and virtual servers, Storage and backups, Disaster recovery 3.
