Title: IT Business Solutions Analyst - Hyperion Systems

Location: Bangalore

Requirements:

- Serve as a subject matter expert for the IT team for the Hyperion ARM and Oracle EPM/Hyperion Financial Planning suite including: set-up and configuration of the suite, and end user functionality and utilization of the suite, version 11.1.2.3.

- Minimum 8 years- experience on planning and reconciliation process within Hyperion.

- Strong understanding on account reconciliation process with sub-ledgers and GL.

- Implementation experience and detailed understanding of the following Applications modules in Release 11: Hyperion Planning, FDM, ARM

- Expert in configuring reconciliation methods in Hyperion ARM tool

- Expert in adding transaction details in reconciliation process & prefer both manual addition, importing from file system and copy inputs from prior reconciliations

- Usage of Multi-Currency feature in Hyperion ARM and setting up currency rates in Hyperion ARM

- Setting up workflow process for reconciliation submission & setting up reviewer and approver with timelines

- Usage of Flagging and creating filters for flagged transactions

- Provide expert level Hyperion Planning support utilizing:

Hyperion Planning, Hyperion Lifecycle Management Utility to migrate the application versions through various test environments into the final production and contingency environments.

Hyperion Smart View for Office to integrate Hyperion forms and Essbase data with Excel.

- Strong verbal and written communication skills.

- Strong understanding of finance and accounting principles.

Responsibilities:

- Manage planning and reconciliation business requirements and business processes with users.

- Design, develop and configure Hyperion ARM and Planning application components including recon tasks, templates, web forms, business rules, calc. scripts, reports and security

- Design and develop reporting and database solutions that leverage data from Hyperion ARM, Planning and Oracle ERP applications.

- Creation, maintenance and optimization of forms, metadata (entities, accounts, etc.) calculation scripts, business rules within Planning

- Administration of ARM, Planning, Shared Services and Reporting.

- Setting up reconciliation process in Hyperion ARM for GL, AP and AR modules

- Creating reporting on reconciliation process & report binders

- Setting up data load process, data integration options on ERP sources using multiple options

- Setting up multiple reconciliation processes

Education

Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, computer science or equivalent
