IT Business Analyst - Top Global Investment Bank

Job Title : Data Quality Business Analyst

Position Purpose :

The scope of the engagement will include but not be limited to :

- Performing requirement gathering.

- Writing functional specs.

- Requirement analysis and coordination with multiple stakeholders

Direct Responsibilities :

- Connect with users and finalizing the requirement for DQ rules and assessment Views

- Prepare BRD and FSD document for the requirement

- Analyze the rule requirement and help the development team with its development and testing

- Involvement in SIT/UAT testing

- Prepare test case scenarios, user stories for the requirement

- Root cause analysis of any production incident raised by user.

- Involve and provide inputs for preparing the timelines for monthly release.

- Analysis of data using SQL queries and MS Excel

- Transform clearly defined technical specifications into solutions using in-house and vendor based applications

- Create and maintain the necessary project documentation

- Effectively communicate relevant project information to the project lead and project teams

- Provide guidance and share expertise with the project teams members and sponsors

- Participate in designing innovative solutions align with banks informational architecture

- Facilitate defining and implementing solutions to various data quality defects and sourcing gaps

Contributing Responsibilities :

- Involve and provide inputs for preparing the timelines for monthly release

- Provide solutions to complex problem

Technical Competencies :

- Strong Skills on SQL, Datawarehouse concepts.

- Exposure to Data Quality Framework will be a preference but is not mandatory.

- Strong knowledge on complete SDLC and experience in both Waterfall and Agile methodologies.

Behavioral Competencies :

- Good Communications Skills

- Ability to interpret/write specs and Understand the requirement

- Overall 4-6 year experience

- Proactive and Teamwork oriented

- Flexible attitude, Ability to perform under pressure

- Commitment to quality
