Senior Technical Manager

ISGN is looking for Technical Manager - Product Engineering is responsible for developing cutting edge, world class Mortgage Software Products as per the product roadmaps, client expectations and company direction.


Responsibilities include roadmap execution, direction, planning, management, coordination, review and measurement of all aspects of Software Design, Architecture, Development, Enhancement and Maintenance, Software Packaging, and Documentation, with accountability to deliver products and projects as per specifications and at the highest level of quality, on time and on budget.

Job Description :

- 13+ years of hands on experience in Java/J2EE development, Web services, Mule ESB and API Management

- Excellent communication skills to communicate with folks with varied experience

- Mix of advanced technology and strategic business acumen-both broad and deep technology and industry knowledge

- Ability to architect solutions by mapping customer business problems to end-to-end technology solutions

- Exceptional demonstrated consulting skills

- Effective in fostering executive level relationships

- Resourceful, confident under pressure, and has demonstrated skill in both expectation and crisis management

Responsibilities :

- Ability to provide technical guidance & mentoring to developers

- Ability to produce high- and low-level technical design specifications

- Ability to produce and test application code which address complex business needs

- Ensure quality deliverables by performing specification, coding Standard

- Ability to learn new tools technologies quickly

- Strong communication skills (verbal and written)

- Experience of leading a team of 15 to 20 members in a capacity of SPOC/Module Lead

- Good interpersonal skills

- Team work and team bonding

- SDLC knowledge / development

Desired Skills & Experience :

- Experience in J2EE clustering frameworks and in general clustering is an added advantage

- Strong practical experience of performance engineering at all layers is required with experience in techniques such as profiling (manual & automated) is essential

- Strong understanding of Design Principles & OOAD

- Strong experience with XML, DOM, SAX, XPATH, JAXB

- Good working experience with JavaScript, jQuery, Ajax

- Experience with RMI, JAX-RS & JAX-WS

- Knowledge on HTTP Server (Apache/IBM), Tomcat & JBoss

- Demonstrated ability to assess existing products portfolio and define migration strategy and road map including cloud provider selection & recommendation

- Experience should clearly demonstrate Industry patterns adopted, applied articulating the trade-offs and compromises adopted toward meeting the non-functional

- Providing detailed reliable solutions and developing statements of work and estimates for service implementations

- Delivers engaging, informative, well-organized presentations to large teams including executives and board members

- Resolves and/or escalates issues in a timely fashion

- Understands how to communicate difficult/sensitive information tactfully

- Astute cross cultural awareness and experience in working with international teams (especially US)

Leadership :

- Should have led teams with 25+ members

- Challenges others to develop as leaders while serving as a role model

- Manages the development of team by ensuring that project tasks are in line with each Innovator's career interests when possible

- Ability to set and manage performance objectives for the entire workforce
