Role Description :

- The Finance Manager will be responsible for overseeing financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and reporting.

- This role will involve working closely with senior management to provide financial insights that drive business decisions.

- The Finance Manager will ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations while maintaining financial integrity and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Planning & Analysis:

- Lead the preparation and analysis of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.

- Oversee the budgeting and forecasting process, ensuring alignment with company goals and financial objectives.

- Provide actionable financial insights to senior management for decision-making, cost control, and operational improvements.

- Perform variance analysis, identifying discrepancies between forecasted and actual results and providing recommendations for corrective actions.

Financial Reporting & Compliance:

- Ensure timely and accurate preparation of financial statements in compliance with accounting principles (GAAP, IFRS, or local standards).

- Manage tax compliance, including preparing tax returns and ensuring adherence to all tax regulations.

- Prepare financial reports for internal stakeholders, external auditors, and regulatory bodies.

- Ensure compliance with all financial regulations, standards, and company policies.

Cash Flow Management:

- Monitor and manage company cash flow, ensuring that funds are available to meet operational requirements and strategic investments.

- Oversee the management of working capital, including accounts receivable and accounts payable processes.

- Recommend strategies to optimize cash flow and liquidity.

Cost Control & Budget Management:

- Monitor operational costs and identify areas for cost reduction or efficiency improvement.

- Ensure adherence to the approved budget, working closely with department heads to manage departmental expenses and financial performance.

- Conduct cost-benefit analyses for key business decisions and investments.

Financial Strategy & Advisory:

- Provide strategic financial guidance to support business initiatives, including new projects, investments, and financial risk management.

- Work with senior leadership to align financial strategies with the company's overall business objectives.

- Advise on financial risk mitigation strategies, including investment decisions, mergers, and acquisitions, as required.

Audit & Internal Controls:

- Coordinate with external auditors for annual audits, ensuring timely and accurate completion.

- Develop and enforce internal controls to safeguard company assets and prevent fraud.

- Review financial systems and processes to identify and implement improvements.

Team Leadership & Development:

- Lead, manage, and mentor a team of finance professionals, providing guidance and ensuring high performance.

- Foster a collaborative environment, promoting continuous learning and professional development within the finance team.

- Delegate tasks and responsibilities to team members while ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of financial operations.

Stakeholder Communication:

- Communicate financial results and key metrics to senior management, shareholders, and other stakeholders.

- Prepare presentations and reports that communicate financial performance and strategic initiatives
