Job Purpose:  To contribute to Srini Raju Centre for IT and the Networked Economy (SRITNE)'s growth strategies, active management and thorough general administration of all short and long-duration programs and outreach/conference events.   Job Outline:  Srini Raju Centre for IT and the Networked Economy (SRITNE) is a multi-disciplinary research centre aimed at fostering rigorous and relevant ICT centric research, with focus on - management of ICT- and on the - enabling-capabilities of ICT for businesses, governments and society.   - The jobholder needs to execute the business plan of the center in consultation with SRITNE's Associate and Executive Directors. S/he needs to also follow-up on external partnerships/ leads and connections with companies, government bodies and industry associations through creation of necessary program proposals. The job-holder needs to host academic conferences and/or industry events within the budget on the predefined dates. The jobholder needs to liaison with different departments/vendors for implementing the educational programs/outreach events and ensuring that they all run smoothly.  - S/he needs to coordinate with the Marketing & Communications team and leverage social media channels (including SRITNE website) to create awareness about the center's capabilities, program offerings and by putting out periodic publications that reflect the centre's unique capabilities and value for practitioners and firms.   - S/he needs to support the creation of contract agreements, MoUs and associated financial documents/invoices and bills (in sync with faculty, ISB legal team and external vendors and partners) and maintain the records for all proposals, programs and projects  Qualifications :  - Bachelor's degree with at least 6-8 years of experience in managing projects, programs and/or handling outreach events/conferences preferably in an academic setting   - MBA from a top ranked business school is preferred. Masters in Arts from a top ranked school can also be considered.  Behavioral/Technical Skills:  - High levels of initiative and a sense of urgency  - Excellent Communication skills (written and verbal)  - Ability to plan, organize, and monitor multiple tasks simultaneously   - Ease with computers & MS office suite (Word, Excel, PPT)   - Ability to work independently and in a team-based environment  - Must have strong written and oral communication skills  - Highly developed organizational skills, planning and strict attention to details  - Ability to build & maintain strong working relationships with diverse stakeholders  - Proven ability to respond positively to extreme pressures of time and workload  - Academic program management and event coordination  - Problem solving and decision making  - Ease to maintain budget vs. actual statements and reconciliation of finances
