Job Purpose: This position will be responsible for driving growth and competitive advantage for the government vertical of ISB's Executive Education, including custom, online and open enrolment programs, while establishing B2B and B2B2C strategies for the vertical, executing marketing and sales planning for the vertical, and driving engagement with policymakers. Job Outline: The Director of Government Solutions is a leadership role that reports directly to the Deputy Dean of Digital Learning and Strategic Initiatives at the Center of Executive Education (CEE). Responsible for leading a portfolio of high quality digital and in-person executive education programs that equips government employees and citizens with in-demand skills to build a competitive workforce, setting ambitious growth targets for the portfolio, directing marketing efforts to ensure targets are surpassed, creating unique and targeted sales plans, and creating research and marketing collateral that engages policymakers and advances the brand of CEE and ISB. Drawing on superior strategic thinking and communication abilities and creative deal-making skills, the position will play a critical role in designing CEE's learning solutions for the government vertical, as well as more broadly impact the way that governments train their employees and citizens. The Director will work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders in the school and will need strong relationships with ISB's Corporate Development, External Relations, Research Centers and Institutes, and the Media Lab as necessary. Oversee the design, development, and management of proprietary online platforms and ecosystems that bring together learners, skill providers, and governments in value-creating exchanges. The position will deeply understand learner needs and supporting resources and workflows and partner closely with technology providers to turn learner insights into platform services and improvements. The role will oversee platform analytics to develop shared student services models and retention strategies. Have the acute ability to understand, assess and act upon company and industry metrics. The position will need the specialized skill to present relevant data to internal and external stakeholders in a clear, concise way to build consensus and implement actionable next steps. Motivating team members to perform at their highest levels and working with faculty to translate thought leadership and research into actionable, viable executive education programs will be critical to success. The Director will also oversee the creation of high-quality digital assets, digital marketing collateral, and online learning content that support learning objectives and outcomes and advance the school's brand. The position will remain committed to operational efficiency of the various programs offered in the vertical. S/he is expected to enable CEE to feature as a world-class provider of executive education for governments.
