IS Transformation Role - PMO Governance - Shared Services Captive (5-10 yrs)

Scope of Responsibilities:
- Support the development and design of the governance process for assessing all IS change requests from:
- The Business Functions via the BRDs (as listed above)
- The Board of Directors
- Other IS Functions E.g. Cyber Security.
- Support the formulation and facilitation of the prioritisation of requests for change coming from Business and the Board of Management.
- Serve as an enforcer of the governance, controls and processes used to manage the delivery of change
- Provide centralised services for Project Managers and Programme Managers including, but not limited to: Risk, Assumptions, Issues and Dependencies (RAID) tracking and oversight; configuration management of project deliverables; review and validation of project financials; quality assurance and lessons learned
- Ensure that risks and issues are identified and mitigations implemented effectively, escalating matters where appropriate
- Oversee the quality control and procedural requirements for best practice in quality and stage gate reviews and perform project health checks
- Ensure that policies and procedures are updated as required and that business areas are actively encouraged to do the same as part of implementation planning.
Skills/Experiences:
Essential
- Proven experience of a PMO role in a global company
- High level of understanding of best practice processes and strategies to effectively develop and manage the governance process for IS change
- Able to build and maintain strong and effective relationships
- Effective time management and organisational skills
- Critical thinker and ability to demonstrate logical approach to problem solving
- Strong negotiation and influencing skills particularly at senior levels of an organisation
- Able to prioritise work and balance competing demands
- Self-starter and able to work autonomously / within teams
- Able to deal with conflict and mediate
- Able to deal with ambiguity and cope with change.
