POSITION OVERVIEW:
- As the CEO (Chief Executive Officer) of an e-commerce company, you will be responsible for providing strategic leadership, driving business growth, and overseeing all aspects of the company's operations.
- Your primary goal will be to ensure the company's success, profitability, and market competitiveness within the e-commerce industry.
- Our Corporate team average age is 28 yrs and we would wish to onboard young and driven talent, having the hunger and attitude to thrive and grow in a dynamic environment to build solutions for challenging problem statements.
- In this role, you will be working directly with the management team as a part of leadership team and think-tank. Idea is to transform the role into a leader for a category.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Strategic Leadership:
- Develop and execute the company's vision, mission, and long-term strategies.
- Set clear goals and objectives for the organization and ensure alignment with stakeholders.
- Stay updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitor activities to identify new opportunities and potential risks.
Business Development and Growth:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities to drive revenue growth and expand the company's market presence.
- Build and maintain strategic partnerships with key stakeholders, including suppliers, vendors, and distribution channels.
- Explore innovative strategies to increase customer acquisition, retention, and satisfaction.
Financial Management:
- Develop and manage the company's budget, ensuring effective resource allocation and cost control.
- Monitor financial performance, analyze key metrics, and make data-driven decisions to achieve profitability targets.
- Implement strategies to optimize revenue streams, improve profit margins, and manage cash flow effectively.
Operational Oversight:
- Provide leadership and guidance to department heads, ensuring effective coordination and collaboration across functions.
- Establish and maintain efficient operational processes, systems, and controls. Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation to enhance operational efficiency and customer experience.
Team Leadership and Development:
- Recruit, develop, and retain top talent, fostering a high-performance culture within the organization.
- Provide clear direction, set performance expectations, and promote professional growth for all employees
- Encourage effective communication, collaboration, and teamwork across departments.
Risk Management and Compliance:
- Identify and mitigate business risks, ensuring compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
- Establish effective security measures to protect customer data, intellectual property, and the company's reputation.
- Develop and implement contingency plans to address potential disruptions to the business.
Stakeholder Management:
- Represent the company to external stakeholders, including investors, partners, customers, and the media.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, ensuring their trust and confidence in the company.
- Communicate the company's vision, progress, and performance effectively to internal and external audiences.
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILL'S REQUIRED:
- Bachelor or Masters from IITs/BITS/NITs/NIFTs or MBA from IIMs or Tier 1 / Tier 2 College;
- Work Exp of 5+ years;
- Proven track record of successful leadership and executive management experience, preferably in the e-commerce industry.
- In-depth knowledge of e-commerce trends, technologies, and best practices.
- Strong business acumen and a strategic mindset, with the ability to drive business growth and profitability.
- Excellent financial management skills, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams.
- Strong decision-making capabilities, with the ability to analyse complex situations and make sound judgments.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
- Adept at managing change, adapting to market dynamics, and driving innovation
