Role Summary:

Description

We are looking for a Proposal Manager to join our Global RFP Support Team and support IQVIA Technologies RFPs and manage our global Q&A database to positively impact sales productivity and outcomes. Our ideal candidate is organized, able to take on several moving projects at once, good at communication, detail oriented, and has the ability to adapt to change as IQVIA is a dynamic environment with a diverse sales organization. This position will report to a Global Sales Enablement Manager.

Key responsibilities:

- Responsible for managing multiple, concurrent complex proposal efforts and teams simultaneously

- Leading, reviewing and working with proposal team in writing effective proposals and presentations to customers- needs

- Perform detailed analysis of RFPs and coordinate with sales and manage project plan for all incoming and ongoing RFPs

- Organize RFP kick-off meetings with the Proposal Writers and the sales team.

- Provide accurate responses to company information questions, technical and product features questions, and IT security questions using a central Q&A Database (Qvidian).

- Help the proposal writer by coordinating with SMEs and other teams to get timely and complete RFP responses

- Ensure all the best practices are followed in completing the RFP from kickoff, planning, reviewing and finalizing

- Update and maintain Qvidian Q&A databases as required and ensure accurate information is included in tracking reports.

- Suggest and implement strategies to improve quality of proposal response and support process.

- Report key metrics and present team's utilization

- Provide ongoing training

- Ensure all SOPs are updated in a timely manner

Qualifications / Skills:

Our ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Software Engineering, Computer Science or other related field related field and previous experience in Proposals gained within a Technology or similar corporate environment; or equivalent combination of education, training and experience.

- Must have at least 6-8 years of experience in proposal writing (response to RFPs, RFIs, etc.) with excellent team management skills

- Able to quickly understand Technology Solution Offerings and detailed product features

- Familiar with Technology Technical terms and concepts

- Proven ability to meet tight deadlines

- Strong organizational, communication, written skills

- Fluent in English (verbal and written)

- Strong Attention to details

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
