IQVIA - Methodology Lead

We are looking out for someone to us and help in expanding our team's capabilities into multiple new geographies and additional data assets while designing optimal methodologies to support the framework and identifying the associated caveats/limitations

The incumbent would be an individual contributor to provide global methodology leadership through multiple solutions within R&D analytics project requirements.

Principal Accountabilities

- Point person to provide global methodology leadership and lead homogenization effort across multiple initiatives and offerings within the team

- Closely support/partner the expansion strategy for the team into newer countries as well as data assets

- Design optimal methodologies while ensuring alignment of the business priorities between cross-functional groups working towards the same objective

- Develop and manage roadmaps, working with Regional Leads and strategy group, to achieve full/ optimal automation of patient density analytics for each country

- Assess and define a right operating model to optimize the use of bespoke and automated patient density analytics

- Bring techno domain expertise to the team of country champions and work towards streamlining the inconsistencies in automated analytics (versus bespoke) for an enhanced end user acceptance of published off-the-shelf analytics

- Develop and manage certification process of methodologies and version-control of methodologies, together with implementing quality standards

- Co-ordinate change and release management between different groups ensuring all methodology related initiatives are well synced with other broader teams needs and offerings development

- Lead a forum / committee to discuss best practice, lesson learned and key updates on methodology related initiatives

- Proactively communicate with the business interface and all involved teams; prioritize the immediate needs, and highlight any specific challenges.

Essential Experience

- Masters degree in pharmaceutical or life-sciences/ public health/ biostatistics/ biochemistry/ biotechnology/ organic or pharmaceutical chemistry

- 8-10 years of experience in healthcare/ clinical data analytics and consulting with a minimum 3 years of relevant experience

- Experience of working with global teams based across multiple geographies

- Up-to-date knowledge of the pharmaceutical and healthcare market in different countries, exposure to clinical development business is preferred

- Understanding of key IQVIA data assets and general subject knowledge of healthcare datasets is a plus

Technical Skills

- Experience & knowledge of various public/ proprietary pharmaceutical databases

- Expertise in MS Office Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio (preferred)

- Expertise in handling multiple tasks and an efficient project management is a must

- Basic understanding of one of the advanced analytics tools such as SQL, SAS, R or python (preferred but not must-to-have)

- Excellent communication (verbal/written) and strong interpersonal skills and ability to interact at all levels within IQVIA and with stakeholders
