We are looking for people with good pharma experience with strategic consultant/Management and hands on exp in one or more practice areas (Strategy & Portfolio Analysis, Pricing & Market Access and Brand & Commercial Strategy)
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform research to build a detailed understanding of the target market, company or opportunity
- Source information based on specific client requirements through secondary research and IQVIA data sources
- Integrate qualitative & quantitative data and present the analysis in a structured manner to internal stakeholders/client; bring out value-added insights to the clients
- Undertake market analysis to include details on the market characteristics (market size and growth, prescriptions, days of therapy, patient types, market share, number of competitors, market trends, market attractiveness); competitor characteristics (product characteristics, competitor marketing strategies, sales force activities, pricing analysis); prescriber characteristics (number of prescribers by specialty, physician prescription activity, desires and unmet needs)
- Critically think through the answer to the so-what from a client perspective
- Clearly communicate project outputs, identify risks and highlight to relevant stakeholders
- Lead and deliver small projects/workstreams with high quality, client-ready outputs with minimal supervision; identify risks/issues and escalate to the project leads in a timely manner.
Education & Experience:
- Graduate/Post-graduate Degree in Life Sciences/Engineering/Business from a premier institute
- Minimum 2 years of work experience, preferably in Healthcare Consulting
- 2-3 years of experience in direct client facing role within Pharmaceutical/Biotechnology/Consulting/Professional Services company
- Possess demonstrated hands on expertise in one or more practice areas (Strategy & Portfolio Analysis, Pricing & Market Access and Brand & Commercial Strategy)
- Strong analytical, problem solving, interpersonal, and presentation skills

- Passionate about research and analysis and its practical application in the corporate environment
- Demonstrated knowledge in concepts related to consulting methodologies, tools and techniques related to functional area
- Showcase domain understanding at Global level - key issues and current developments in the pharmaceutical and healthcare industries
- Understanding of key therapy areas including Cardio Vascular, Oncology, Respiratory, CNS, Biosimilars, etc., will be an advantage
- Should possess an aptitude to understand the impact of macro-economic indicators on industry sectors
- Should be able to conceptualize new ideas for research and give shape to them
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office
- Demonstrated knowledge on IMS Datasets and business use cases
