Associate Manager - PPC

Job Description:

This individual will report into the head of PPC. This position will work as part of a cross functional team made up of marketing, web and technology teams. The individual will be responsible for conceptualizing, planning and implementing online/digital marketing strategies for our clients.

Responsibilities:

- Drive service quality, client retention & growth

- Use of data and analytics to deliver marketing efficiencies

- Lead a team of analysts to develop and execute the online marketing strategy for our clients, spanning across - Search Engine Marketing, Display Marketing, Remarketing and Facebook Marketing

- Run frequent rounds of ad copy and landing page tests (A/B, Multivariate tests) in an effort to maximize performance. - Analyze campaigns, identify trends and provide fast, accurate reports, optimizing campaigns to produce the best return on investment

- Manage & build strong team with best in class online marketing competencies, skills & experience sets. - Mentor and take an active role in the career development of reporting employees.

Desired Skills:

- 3 to 6 years of hands-on experience in digital marketing

- Search Engine Marketing - Should have a very high-level of proficiency. AdWords Certification is a bonus.

- Display Marketing, Social Marketing - Preferred but not required.

- Proficiency with AdWords Editor, Google Analytics and Adobe Omniture.

- Experience in campaign management.

- Crisis Management - Able to handle ad-hoc issues effectively.

- Strong analytical skills, numerical skills and a good knowledge of Excel

- Good relationship management skills and a good team player

- Creative flair and enthusiasm for new ideas and concepts

- Strong leadership, entrepreneurial and execution skills

Qualifications:

- MBA/PGDM from Tier-1 Institutes.

Team / Leadership Skills:

- Uses sound judgment to identify issues and escalates when appropriate.

- Contributes to improvements in processes (technical or business) used by analysts.

- Drives focused decisions within specific areas and a key contributor to decisions beyond specific scope of role.

- Ability to identify key needs or gaps and provide leadership to close those gaps. Learns from mistakes, takes action to apply the learning and provides peer and team wide feedback for those in immediate area of focus.

- Takes a proactive role in development of employees.

- Is able to allocate and manage resources effectively for optimum performance.
