Investor Relation Role - Special Situation Fund (5-15 yrs)
- Assist the Fund Manager in developing and implementing the fund's raising strategy, focusing on distressed assets, including both distressed companies and undervalued properties with legal challenges.
- Identify and cultivate relationships with potential investors
- Manage fundraising campaigns, including event planning, investor cultivation, and stewardship
- Prepare and deliver fundraising proposals
- Track and report on fundraising progress
- Maintain strong relationships with investors, providing updates on fund performance, portfolio developments, and market trends.
- Stay informed on industry developments, market trends, and changes in regulations that may impact the fund's strategy and performance.
- Collaborating with the fund's management team to prepare investor presentations, pitchbooks, and other marketing materials.
- Managing the fundraising process, including outreach to potential investors and the preparation of fundraising materials.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in investment management, with a focus on distressed assets, including distressed companies and/or properties with legal challenges.
- Proven track record of identifying and closing successful deals.
- Strong understanding of the target industry or asset class and the ability to analyze market trends and identify investment opportunities.
- Excellent financial analysis, valuation, and due diligence skills.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
