Client: Global organization in the business of Insurance & Reinsurance

Location: Powai - Mumbai

Position: Investments Data Specialist

Timing: 12:30 PM - 9:30 PM (centralized pickup and drop available)

Job Description:

- Develop & implement technical quality control processes for the daily data entering Eagle Pace

- Develop & implement business quality checks on the completeness and consistency of data on client holdings, transactions, distributions etc

- Implement as comprehensive a set of processes as possible in order that data problems are not being found at month end when performance reports are being run

- Collaborate with stakeholders on data requirements and implement approaches for identifying and addressing data related challenges and improvements

Requirement:

- Understanding of the financial services industry, specifically Investment Accounting.

- Understanding of the software product management lifecycle and/or investment performance measurement and analysis.

- Experience of business process improvement in asset management - for example, performing data investigations to determine root cause of data quality issues.

- Expertise and demonstrated experience of Eagle Pace

- Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems Management or related discipline.

- Proficiency with data processing and data warehouse / big data environments. Strong knowledge of Excel/VBA and demonstrated experience of languages like SQL.

- Previous in-depth knowledge of Eagle Performance & Data Management

- Familiarity with ETL tools for efficiently and accurately importing new data for various external/internal sources

- Familiarity with unit funds / NAVs would be beneficial, ideally with familiarity with aspects like swing pricing, distributing share classes etc.

- Familiarity with designing data models, defining data architecture schema etc.

- Knowledge of ITIL/Asset Management desirable.

- Proficiency in Excel, Word, Power point preferred.
