Investment Strategist - Equity Products

The primary objective of this role is to support the Senior Investment Strategists in all elements of the function.

- Conceptualize and create presentations for a variety of needs like pitching to new institutional clients, explaining our fund positioning, market update PPTs for Portfolio Managers, event specific presentations like budget, sector updates etc.

- Update & maintain existing presentations, team profiles, annual notes, quarterly notes, attribution reports, board packs etc.

- Interpret data independently to create portfolio performance commentary and charts.

- Assist in answering interview questions in media articles, journals, magazines, wealth managers, family offices, IFAs etc.

- Improve our visibility and brand recall digitally with quality content.

- Domestic and offshore query handling - attribution, performance, holdings data, macro commentary, ad-hoc commentaries/questionnaires

- Coordinate institutional client requests for data, DDQ, presentations, reports, factsheets, competitor analysis etc. with relevant teams / external parties for the hedge fund, UCITS and other funds

- Monthly commentaries and attribution for offshore strategies.

- Source and build a repository of all relevant materials (slides, reports, data points, performance files) like from MSCI, legal counsel, distribution partners etc.

- The DSP India Equity Investment Strategists are responsible for representing and promoting DSP's equity products both internally and externally. The Investment Strategists are a part of the core Equity investment team. They aim to raise the Investment Team's profile and maximize its business opportunities, whilst minimizing the amount of time Portfolio Managers are required to spend on client interactions. The role of an associate on the team will be to support the senior Investment Strategists in all elements of the function. 

- The role offers excellent holistic learning and growth opportunities. Interested candidates must note that this is a product specialist role and the role is situated within the equity investment team. However, the role does not offer any immediate path to money management (either analyst or fund manager). Despite the challenging requirements of the role, the team believes strongly in the importance of work-life balance and encourages efficient use of working hours to finish tasks.
