Investment Research Role - BFS - IIM/MDI/ISB/CA (1-3 yrs)
Job description:
Looking for suitable Candidates, to undertake high quality and in-depth investment research, and support the decision-making processes of the firm's global proprietary trading strategies.
Primary responsibilities will include:
- Detailed modelling of company financials for companies across the globe primarily in technology and consumer sectors, iterate on financial models and investment theses
- Undertaking research coverage for specific companies and sectors
- Conducting complete valuation and operational/peer group analysis
- Providing in-depth research on key project documents, such as investment memorandums and other materials needed to build investment cases
- Attending management/intermediary/sector expert calls
- Developing industry sector expertise
- Collaborating with the firm's data science teams to development proprietary matrices for companies and industries.
Requirement:
MBA from top business schools (preferably from IIM Ahmedaabd, Bangalore or Kolkata) + B.E from Top Engineering College or ranked CA with relevant experience.
- 1-3 years of financial modeling experience - ideally with top foreign investment banks in equity research department
- Experience in financial modeling, valuation, fundamental equity research, and analysis in global financial markets & problem solving skills
- Should have done extensive financial modeling for US companies, good understanding of GAAP & IFRS accounting rules.
