Designation: Research Analyst

Responsibilities :

Equity: Stocks & Sector coverage, Thematic and Quantitative research

- Company specific fundamental research and sector coverage

- Analysis of Competitive Advantages, Growth and Profitability Drivers

- Build and Update Earnings Model and DCF models for companies

- Suggest sector top picks for inclusion in model equity portfolio

- Quantitative and Qualitative analysis of portfolio and stocks

- Building Quantitative Models - Analyzing long term historical corporate data - Develop relationship with company IR team and management

Portfolio Management

- Build portfolio screeners to identify investable universe

- Create Model Portfolios o Track Performance and analyze portfolio

- Assist in Execution of strategies

a) Suggest strategies to generate outperformance over benchmark

- Analyze past performance and provide attribution analysis

- Prepare quarterly and annual presentation for clients

Other key points:

- Managing relationships by meeting monthly/quarterly and providing market data and related information

- Training and development of sales force in investment management function

- Understanding of equity dealing

Required Qualifications

- Masters of Business Administration (MBA), Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) preferred

- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills

- Knowledge and understanding of Portfolio Management and Analysis

- Good critical thinking and decision making skills

Technical Skills

- Knowledge in Excel and Power point

- Proficiency in financial database software's like Bloomberg & Capital Line is necessary
