Investment Counselor - Bank (6-12 yrs)
- IC typically caters to top 30% of Rm client base
- ICs role is to understand client's risk appetite and needs of client. Due to better understanding of markets & products, IC helps RM provide appropriate solutions
- IC helps drive business / sales on monthly based on discussion with RM
- IC works closely with the product team to understand various product offerings and how it can be positioned in client portfolios
- Regular client/prospect meeting including corporate
- Preparing holistic portfolio analytics presentation for clients / prospects
- Preparing customized plans which include Investment Plans, Retirement Plans etc
- Role is to do farming ie increasing wallet share by providing value add with clients
- To undertake research & above activities various tools such as Bloomberg, Reuters, CRISIL Research, ICRA, Capitaline etc are being used
- Close co-ordination with various teams within the bank for interest rate and macro economic inputs
- Interactions are conducted with external global and local fund managers, market counter parties to construct views and assess investment strategies
