Investment Banker - Real Estate Practice (5-12 yrs)

Role is that of Investment Banker for Real Estate practice (Location-Gurgaon). Looking for people who have closed deals in Real Estate in NCR region.

Candidates from Corporate Banking (Real Estate Financing), NBFCs (Construction Finance), IPCs (Capital Markets ) or Inv Banks (Real Estate deal makers) are welcome.

Company: A leading global Investment Bank whose Real Estate practice provides financing and advisory services to clients across various asset classes like residential, commercial, retail, hospitality and warehousing. They advise clients on raising equity (private equity, strategic partnerships / JV, etc) and debt (mezzanine debt, acquisition financing, term loan / construction finance, foreign currency loan, cash-flow securitization, etc).

In addition to helping clients raise capital for their projects, they also assist with mergers and acquisitions, leveraged acquisition and more.

Job Description:

- Responsible for deal origination, analysis, negotiations and end to end relationship management with Real estate Developers

- Proven ability of interfacing with clients and developers

- Excellent knowledge of the India RE market - developers, funds and structures prevalent in market

- Staying current with changing regulations in FDI, Real Estate, Tax and other related market intelligence

- Preparation of pitch books / presentation / discussion material for the potential targets / prospects, wherein the credentials of the Firm are well presented, apart from the pitch being made to the prospective clients

- Analysis of various Financial and other statements for Investment Banking proposal(s), in the space of Structured Finance, Debt Syndication (domestic and international finance), Private Equity, M&A, Advisory Services for Capital

- Building financial models, including projections and valuation analysis, and presenting appropriate financial solutions to the client

- Interacting with clients, potential investors, legal firms, due diligence agencies for closures

Skills :

- Good Analytical, Organizational and Communication skills

- Should have independently structured deals / transactions.

- Ability to multi-task, work independently and network with outside agencies, developers, fund houses etc.

- Strong knowledge of the fundamentals of corporate finance and valuation techniques

- Basic proficiency with MS Office, particularly PowerPoint and Excel

Qualifications:

- MBA / CA or equivalent qualification from premier institute

Essential Experience :

- Either worked with Investment Bank, IPC, fund / NBFC /PE with knowledge of real estate industry (5 - 12 yrs experience)
