Investment Associate - Private Investment Firm - IIT/IIM/ISB/XLRI (2-5 yrs)

This is an established private investment firm with offices in Mumbai and New Delhi. We are focused on promoting and investing in innovative companies, typically investing US $5 -$25 million of equity in transactions. The Client has an interest in a wide variety of new age sectors including Education, Retail, Media, Sports, Technology, Financial Services, Hospitality and Urban Real Estate.

Job Description :

- To assist the Investment team in analysis of investment opportunities and management of portfolio companies

- Associates will work with other specialists within the team to leverage and gain from their experience to drive company's growth

- Associates will work closely with the senior management of portfolio companies and play an active role in streamlining operations and driving growth

- The associates will participate in all aspects of the investment and business development process including:

- Analysis and assessment of markets and competitive landscapes

- Validation of Company's growth strategy and business models

- Analysis and interpretation of financial statements

- Draft investment memoranda and other deal documents

- Work closely with the senior management of companies on planning, strategy, MIS, documentation, legal / secretarial compliances, fund raising etc

Desired Qualifications and Experience

- Strong academic credentials from top tier institutions - St. Stephens, SRCC, IIT's, IIM- s, ISB and premier global universities

- 2-5 years of prior work experience with leading strategy consulting firms such as McKinsey, Bain & Company, BCG, KPMG, Accenture etc.

- Relevant experience across hospitality, urban infrastructure, real estate and retail sectors is highly preferred

- Ambitious individual with a desire to work in an entrepreneurial environment and comfortable of handling multiple assignments efficiently

- Strong presentation and analytical skills with proficiency in MS PowerPoint, financial modeling and MS Excel

- Effective interpersonal and oral / written communications skills
