Qualification:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or related field. Master's degree or CA or CFA designation is preferred.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in investment banking, private equity, or related field.
- Experience in Pharma/ Healthcare would be desirable.
- Strong proficiency in financial modelling, valuation techniques, and investment analysis.
- Excellent analytical skills with a deep understanding of business fundamentals and risks.
- Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively within a team environment.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas effectively.

Job Description:
New Deal Development and Analysis:
- Conduct thorough industry analysis to validate investment theses and identify potential opportunities.
- Develop investment angles and competitive industry and market analysis leading to informed investment recommendations. o Independently manage research and analysis, working alongside the investment team.
Transaction Execution:
- Lead financial modelling and analysis for transaction execution.
- Assist in documentation and transaction structuring.
- Conduct due diligence in specific areas to ensure informed decision-making.
Portfolio Management:
- Monitor portfolio companies on a day-to-day basis, tracking financial and operational performance.
- Stay updated on global industry trends and competitive landscape.
- Prepare analysis and presentations for Investment Committee and board meetings.
Financial Analysis and Valuation:
- Create and maintain comprehensive financial models, proficient in valuation techniques such as DCF.
- Perform extensive analysis of business fundamentals, risks, opportunities, and management teams.
Investment Memo Preparation:
- Prepare detailed investment memos and deal analysis dockets to support investment decisions.
Post-Investment Support:
- Assist in monitoring portfolio companies' financial and operating performance.
- Prepare periodic reports on portfolio companies for internal and external stakeholders.
Research and Analytics:
- Provide analytical support for broader healthcare sector trends and private equity landscape.
- Assist in building and maintaining an in-house knowledge database for different healthcare sub-sectors.
Documentation and Reporting:
- Manage deal documentation from term sheet to definitive documents, maintaining a comprehensive deal bible.
- Create reports with insights related to the healthcare sector for investor relations, portfolio monitoring, and fund reporting.
Environmental and Social Responsibility (E&S) Considerations:
- Ensure awareness of and adherence to E&S considerations in investment decision's making.
- Support the fund's E&S compliance process and contribute to maximizing development impact.
