Typical tasks may include: - researching companies, particularly in terms of their financial functioning and highlight companies that are looking for series A/B round funding and promise exponential growth in the future - analysing company accounts, profit and loss sheets and cash flow information - interpreting complicated financial information - writing financial research summaries - regularly meeting with company managers, stock market traders, fund managers and stockbrokers - making informed recommendations - collating detailed, up-to-date information about the UK economy and financial markets. Job Description : - Perform independent investment research on assigned areas - Examine earlier investment decisions - Network with fund managers and industry professionals - Extensively utilize sophisticated analytical tools and applications to support the investment management process - Keep abreast with financial press and new trends and opportunities as well as a potential risks - Create reports for senior management - Suggest recommendations for improvement of investment portfolios - Maintain up to date documentation of all investment relationships - Establish complex financial models and analyze relevant legal documents - Previous working experience as an Investment analyst - In-depth knowledge of financial procedures and statistics - Hands on experience with investment analysis software
