Investment Analyst - BFSI

Key responsibilities :

- Develop financial models for the target companies

- Compute valuation of target companies using various methods

- Perform financial analysis using the available financial statements as part of live transactions

- Conduct primary and secondary research on the sector and the target companies

- Create investment pitch decks and other review materials required for the transactions

- Keep track of relevant events and news

Relevant skills and experience :

- Strong communication skills to be able to liaise with all stakeholders and get requisite information

- Financial modelling

- Deep understanding of financial statements

- Drive and acumen to conduct in-depth research

- Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office products, especially Powerpoint, Excel, and Word

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision

- MBA from tier-2/3 B-School, or Chartered Accountant, or Bachelors/Masters in Economics

- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in financial modelling and research
