Invest India is the National Investment Promotion and Facilitation Agency under the Department of Promotion for Internal Trade &amp; Industry (DPIIT), Ministry of Commerce. It hosts teams working with various Govt. initiatives such as Make in India, Startup India, AGNIi, and PMG. Startup India is a flagship initiative of the Government of India intended to catalyse startup culture and build a strong and inclusive ecosystem for innovation and entrepreneurship in India. We are a young organisation looking for candidates that are passionate about India, especially its startup ecosystem. You will be part of the Product team at Invest India, responsible for taking the Startup India Portal (https://www.startupindia.gov.in/) to the next level. This portal has a userbase an active MAU of 350K+ users and is a crucial source of information and support for Indian Startups, connecting them with investors, mentors, incubators and other stakeholders of interest. It also offers valuable tools for startups, including free courses, software, templates, market research reports, information about government schemes, and more. Roles and Responsibilities : 1. As a Product Manager you would be focusing on web and mobile engagement, you'll own the product roadmap for building a world-class product experience to drive user growth and conversion on our products. 2. Balance multiple disciplines from design thinking to analytics to product strategy. They will discover journeys and opportunities across our web presence to craft and experiment with new experiences. 3. Be a fluent technical translator. You should be able to present technical complexity in approachable terms for your audience. The person should also be able to engage in divergent thinking, broadly exploring and rapidly iterating on solutions. 4. Manage end-to-end management of third-party vendor responsible for creating, editing, and maintaining the portal. 5. Working with designers, engineers, and various stakeholders to coordinate, plan, execute, and track product releases from beginning to end. 6. Prioritization and road-mapping of tasks related to product features, in conversation with DPIIT, Startup India Team and other stakeholders. 7. UX/UI Wireframing and Prototyping. 8. Management of workload of developers and helping them produce clean, efficient code (for both front and back-end) based on specifications. 9. Run backend analytics and use tools for the website and app - GA, Heap, Mixpanel, Amplitude, JIRA, Figma and other useful tools for the platform to improve user engagement metrics. Desired Skills &amp; Experience : 1. 4-5 years of experience managing and producing digital products. 2. Demonstrates mastery of mobile and tech industry trends and best practices, as well as a willingness to learn and grow. 3. A proven track record of creating programs, products, or customer experiences in highly agile environments. 4. Ability to listen, learn, and create for end users while being fastidious with assumptions and continually validating with customer feedback and data. 5. Someone who can invent from concept to design experiences and programs that empowers prospects and customers. 6. Someone who has an innate ability to synthesize various data, learnings, and research to articulate the most important and actionable insights. 7. Ability to effectively collaborate with various teams, providing the most useful guidance in an enthusiastic and inspiring manner 8. Someone who has strong visual thinking and storytelling abilities, simplifying complex concepts and strategies through design and logic 9. Genuine interest in startups and drive to grow the Indian Startup Ecosystem 10. Efficient in time and vendor management.
