Invest India - Associate - Railways Sector

About the Department

Invest India is the National Investment Promotion and Facilitation Agency of India, set up as a non-profit venture under the aegis of the Department of Industrial Policy & Promotion, Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Government of India. It facilitates and empowers all investors under the - Make in India- initiative to establish, operate, and expand their businesses in India.

Key Responsibilities:

- Handhold investments into the Railway sector

- Target and interact with foreign and domestic players to attract investments into Railways

- Liaison with the Ministry of Railways and associated agencies

- Work with stakeholders in the Railways sector domain on ease of doing business initiatives and policy recommendations

- Prepare research documents/ pitch decks on areas of interest to various investors in the Railways sector

- Work on resolution of investor queries and grievances in stipulated time

- The role may require travel (short trips) to assist various stakeholders.

Qualifications :

- Bachelor's or master's degree in, Economics, Commerce, Science, or Public Policy domains

- 1+ Years- experience in Government Advisory/Consulting/ Industry Experience

- Excellent Research, Communications, and Analytical Skills

- Excellent understanding of the Indian business environment especially the Railways and Infrastructure sector.
