Job Purpose (Job Summary): The purpose of the Responsible Investment (RI) analyst role is to research, analyze and report on global responsible investment trends including environmental, social and governance trends impacting Invesco's responsible investment and proxy voting activities. The RI analyst's role is designed to deliver and enhance a superior investment experience to both internal and external stakeholders including our Board of Directors (BoD), Fund Managers, Sales and marketing and other functional partners as well as our clients. Key Responsibilities/ Duties -&nbsp; 1) ESG Research and Analysis: 70% - Conduct Industry &amp; market research on key ESG topics, trends and themes to support the RI team consultation efforts with internal and external stakeholders to position Invesco as an elite firm. - Conduct portfolio level ESG analysis and research to assist various internal stakeholders (Investment teams etc.) and provide effective consultation - Effectively collaborate with other functional teams such as Technology, Legal, Compliance, and Investments for various RI projects/ initiatives - Assist Investment teams on ESG consultation (integration, strategies, data etc.) and help them to get market ready - Track regulatory environment impacting RI &amp; provide advisory to ensure compliance of the same 2) Commercial &amp; Client Engagement: 30% - Create content/materials (presentations, reports etc.) to support the distribution, marketing, investments and RI team for the various industry and client engagement events - Work closely with RFP teams on messaging for ESG and RI topics - Lead, Track, monitor &amp; support sales engagement activities to impact top line. - Ability to provide client research to support the Head of RI in the client engagements - Ability to articulate proprietary ESG investment process as a Thought Leadership articles &amp; RI success stories - Assist Head of RI in preparing reporting materials for senior executive teams (tear sheets, Stewardship and board memos, PowerPoint presentations, due diligence efforts, etc.) and required local and global board reporting processes in collaboration with the proxy administration team - Manage the global engagement process for Invesco's various investment centers and track, monitor and evaluate trends in our engagement strategy for corporate governance - Assist with the preparation of any public communications of Invesco regarding Responsible Investment matters Work Experience / Knowledge: - 3+ years in financial services or other relevant industry - Experience managing large engagement efforts - Vendor review and evaluation experience - Ability to create board level and executive level reporting - Database and SharePoint management TECHNICAL ABILITIES AND/OR OTHER SPECIALIZED SKILLS - Expert in Research &amp; provide consultative/advisory services to clients. - It is essential that the analyst has a very good understanding of business, various asset class &amp; Institutional Clients types - Knowledge of investment business, buy-side processes and investment products would be added advantage - Aptitude for rapid adaptation to new systems/software - Skills in BI Tools, Microsoft Office, MS Access, experience and ability to create content &amp; generate reports and cohesive documentation.
