Inverted Energy - Accounts Manager - CA

- Plan, organize, and execute financial tasks and projects of the organization.

- Complete financial reports, lead the month-end closing process and conduct monthly financial forecasts.

- Develop and implement plans for budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.

- Provide financial insight and analysis to drive the business performance of the organization.

- Manage and monitor metrics, KPI tracking, and reports.

- Financial reporting on a monthly basis

- Analyse data and prepare meaningful commercial reports for operations management

- Review and investigate any discrepancies around costing

- Provide financial & KPI performance reporting

- Operational variance analysis including labour, variable, fixed and material cost variances

- Assist operations to identify gaps and drive performance

- Monthly P&Ls and management reports

- Maintenance of BOMs, costings and routings

- Review and recommend opportunities to reduce expenditure and optimise efficiencies to improve profits

- Finalization of year-end statutory and group audited financial statement

- Perform month end-end accounting activities such as reconciliation and journal entries

- Monitor and record financial transactions according to company policies and regulations

- Monthly/ quarterly compliances including calculating liabilities, filling GST returns, etc.

- Periodic reconciliation of tax

- Year-end compliances including IT return, GST return, etc

- Assist in the finalization of the tax audit report and transfer pricing report

- Responding to government notices by preparing data

- Assist & advise the Finance team on the tax treatment of any transaction pursuant to tax laws

- Periodic reviews to ascertain compliance with various requirements of the laws

PREFERRED SKILLS

- Chartered Accountant with 5+ years of experience in Manufacturing Companies

- Good knowledge of Accounting and Process Controls, Design and Implementation of new processes.

- Proven knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles, practices, standards, laws and regulations

- High attention to detail and accuracy

- Working knowledge of GST and Income Tax

- Experienced in Team Handling and Ability to direct and supervise

- Good understanding of the processes and compliance of the manufacturing industry

- Proven working experience as Accounting Manager, or Finance Manager

- Advanced computer skills in MS Office, accounting software and databases

- Work under pressure and can meet deadlines

- Good verbal and writing skills
