JOB PURPOSE

iNurture is looking for a capable business leader to drive the company into the next orbit of profitable business growth. H/she will need to determine the long-term strategic objectives of the business in conjunction with the other Executive Committee members. Ensure business growth through directing and managing business development activities to ensure these are delivered in accordance with the organisational strategy.

Overall Responsibilities:

- Plan, direct and manage business development activities. Ensure the effective achievement of the business development functional objectives, through the leadership of the division, by setting clear objectives in order to maximize individual, divisional and departmental performance.

- Own and Drive Partner Acquisition & Student Acquisition Numbers and the Revenue targets across all the campuses.

- Brand Management both B2B (partners) as well as B2C (students)

- Manage and motivate a highly performance driven team

- Work closely with the MD to explore global expansion plans and tie ups.

- Keep abreast of new innovations in technology in the education sector and ensure that the team is empowered as well.

- Represent the brand in the most credible manner and oversee corporate public relations.

Specific Responsibilities:

Student Acquisition

- To develop the business plan for achieving the admission target.

- Develop and Implement a Lead Nurturing Program across all channels i.e Sales and Marketing to ensure a high rate of admission prediction capability basis pipeline development.

- Strategic preparation of total sales & marketing plan including campaign wise budgeting of cost, revenue and profitability.

- Develop and Manage key affiliate relationships eg: media partnerships.

- To recruit and put together a team for lead management activity and put CRM in place for effective monitoring and ensuring higher conversion ratio.

Sales Management

- Develop segmentation, competitive analysis/market intelligence, prospecting, lead generation, product and market development, pricing, promotions, communications and budgets, sales force effectiveness, strategic planning, services units and revenue retention and growth.

- Evaluating and identifying vendors, media, advertising agencies/ channels/ partners for developing long-term relationships.

- Leading the evolution and implementation of effective promotion strategies to support sales initiatives. Defining and implementing branding guidelines for external and internal usage of the brand.

- Managing the team reporting to this role by evaluating performance of team members, providing feedback on an ongoing basis, identifying development needs and coaching them to ensure ongoing capability development.

Candidate Characteristics

Must Haves

- The incumbent should have a minimum 20 years of overall work experience, of which a minimum of 8 years in a leadership role.

- Understanding of P&L/Budgets/Costs/Investment, preferably in Education domain.

- Should have experience in both b2i & b2c.

- Should have strong experience in Digital / Social media marketing.

- Should have experience of managing the P&L of a medium sized organization & should have been able to demonstrate business growth and expansion.

- Experience of managing a strong team of direct reports in a distributed model and a large implementation team.

Desirable

- Should have understanding of latest technology interventions/innovations in education industry.
