About the company:

I Nurture is a company that is uniquely positioned in the Education space in India. It partners with universities to create and conduct UG and PG courses on their campuses powered by content that is industry endorsed using contemporary pedagogue, with trained faculty who are subject matter experts, usually with industry experience on the subjects that they are teaching.

The company has seen three rounds of venture capital funding via Gujarat Ventures Limited, Ascent Capital and the last round via investor, Bertelsmann.

With a core business model that has been proven, the company is now poised to scale both its classroom presence across locations, extend its expertise into blended and online distance education and also into University services, all as part of a phased expansion. iNurture is today managing around 150 classrooms across its partners which is expected to reach 500 in next 3 yrs.

Technology is expected to play a critical role in helping the scale to be achieved across all its operations, helping to standardize delivery and quality of pedagogue, introduce new methods of curriculum delivery like reverse classrooms, live 2 way lecture transmission in synchronous and a synchronous modes, use of tablets on assessments, lecture capture to monitor quality of delivery, celebrity faculty delivering content and lectures. All this is also expected to yield content assets that will be leveraged for delivery on distance, online education.

In order to be able to do this I Nurture is looking for a Head of Elearning to come on board and be part of the Chief Learning Officers Organization to e enable the content that the academic team is putting together as well as drive the development of additional, relevant Elearning content and deploy this over a LMS for delivery to all students.

Key Result Areas for the position include:

- Be able to articulate, Develop and implement a - Technology In the Classroom- Strategy, reimagining the classroom experience from a backboard and chalk paradigm to a digitally supported and driven one.

- Design and build the online architecture to deliver the programs seamlessly in both online and blended format which is expected to form a key part of the strategic expansion plans of the company.

- Provides vision and leadership in the integration of technology to enhance the learning experience.

- Initiate discussions and evaluate options with turnkey solution providers of tech enabled classrooms like Samsung, Adobe, Voniz, IBM, Hughes and others with the CLO and senior management.

- Review and re-design the Learning Management system to induce collaborative learning.

- Initiate discussions and evaluate options with LMS vendors along with the CLO and senior management.

- Work with the CLO and the Academic heads on doing a Gap and Opportunity Analysis of the current content assets and determine a practical mix of development of content and sources to supplement this. Work with Academic heads and subject matter experts for obtaining content.

- Develop and Deliver University & Corporate related Training and development & short term certification programs.

- Undertake the production and delivery of the current content assets into digital mode using outsourced production resources, with project and quality management of delivery with an internal Elearning organization

- Build an appropriate Elearning organization that is focused on strategizing, planning, Quality control of content that is to be produced.

- Manage operation of resources, process, budget, utilization and metrics for the products developed by a team consisting of Instructional Designers, Content Development Lead, Assistant Mangers, Project Lead, Media Development, Editorial and Quality Assurance members Drive end-to-end Courseware Development, the entire development cycle right from content research, SCO mapping, instructional design and media creation to conversion for SCROM compliance.

- Administer, forecast, manage and prepare the annual e-learning budgets, taking into account the learning platforms, technology in the classroom and computing labs.

Technical Competencies

- Should have innate experience and expertise in designing programs based on Pedagogy & Andragogy learning methodology.

- Should have Innate Expertise in Content Development & Instructional Design for both offline & online, University based curriculum

- Should have developed & delivered Elearning modules using WBTs, Simulations, Story Based Learning, Game Based learning, Blended Learning, ILTs etc.,

- Knowledge of technology based delivery and learning for scaling up and standardizing the delivery

Behavioral Competencies

- Should be an evangelist

- Strong leadership & team management skills

- Strong Communication & Analytical skills

- Strong interpersonal skills to work with diverse teams

Qualification:

Post graduate preferably BE/ or B. Tech / ME or /M. Tech or MCA in Computer Science
